MPH and Nathan Nicholson Turn Heartbreak Into a Dancefloor Catharsis with Track "Long Goodbye"

The rising UK producer will be hitting the festival circuit with Lollapalooza, Outside Lands & CRSSD and his biggest headline shows to date in New York, Denver and Toronto

MPH – One of the most in-demand producers in the new wave of UK Garage – teams up with acclaimed songwriter/vocalist Nathan Nicholson on “Long Goodbye,” released today via Disorder / Capitol Records. Nicholson’s soul-stirring vocals capture the poignant wind-down of a relationship as MPH, who produced, programmed, and played all the instruments, creates a soundscape that feels like an ethereal transmission to a dancefloor in the cosmos. “I’ve always wanted to make a really euphoric piano house track with pure summer vibes. When Nathan sent his vocals, it all came together,” says MPH. “‘Long Goodbye’ is always a highlight in my sets as it lets everyone take a breath.”

Hailing from Tennessee and residing in London, Nathan Nicholson has amassed nearly half a billion combined global streams across his songs. His collaborators include the likes of Dom Dolla (“No Room for a Saint” from the GRAMMY®-nominated F1 The Movie soundtrack), Kygo, Anyma, Chris Lake, Claptone, Sammy Virji and Jazzy, to name a few. As frontman and leader singer of indie-alt band The Boxer Rebellion, Nicholson has seen the group through seven studio albums and numerous world tours. His songs have been featured in ads for Amazon, Google, Chrysler and Jaguar as well as in film, television and video game productions.

MPH is currently touring the globe, playing upcoming festivals such as Parklife in the UK, Lollapalooza, Outside Lands, CRSSD, and III Points in the U.S. and Escapade and Ilesoniq in Canada. On July 17, he’ll support FISHER at [UNVRS] in Ibiza. He’ll play a trio of headline shows – his biggest to date – this fall, performing at Ogden Theatre in Denver (November 14), Black Creek Assembly in Toronto (November 27) and Knockdown Center in New York City (November 28). MPH has built an impressive discography that spans high-energy originals, chart-worthy collaborations and remixes for global stars including Calvin Harris, Chris Lake, Foster The People, Anderson .Paak, Four Tet, Sammy Virji and Tokimonsta. As part of his “MPH Monday” series, he recently released his edit of Daft Punk’s “Crescendolls" on SoundCloud. The track was originally played by Fred again.. during his iconic b2b with Daft Punk’s Thomas Bangalter. At EDC Las Vegas, MPH debuted a massive track with Skrillex.
